Duct Tape

So I've decided to break away from the advanced template machine and start using Classics. Smart me. Pretty much all I've accomplished so far is a total gutting of features and content, with some of the stuff I had before stuck on with duct tape. Meh. Don't despair, as I am... I'm a fast learner and a good programmer, so I should be able to handle a little CSS and custom tags, right?
